it's the same 5 tasks
every week, right?
yep — them too
👋 Hi — I automate the boring stuff so you can do the actual work.

Your team is great.
The repetitive work is not.

I'm James. I build automations and AI agents for small and mid-sized businesses — the kind that quietly save you a day a week, then another, then another. No jargon, no six-figure platform fees.

How many of these does your week include?

🔁

The Monday report

Someone spends half their Monday building the same report leadership asks for every week.

📨

The lead inbox black hole

Leads show up in one of four places. Some get followed up. Some don't. Nobody's fully sure which.

👀

The PR surprise

You find out about a customer complaint from a sales call — not a dashboard, not Reddit. Too late.

📊

The number negotiation

Three tools, three different customer counts. Every meeting starts by arguing about which is right.

🤖

The AI confusion

"We should use AI for this" comes up weekly. Nobody has time to figure out which AI, or for what, or how.

🕯️

The Zap that broke

You tried one no-code automation. It broke. Now you don't trust them. Fair, honestly.

Checked more than two? Yeah — we should talk.

Stuff I've actually built.

⚽ SPORTS · MARKETING

Carrick Rangers FC

THE PROBLEM
Marketing team was manually monitoring mentions across Twitter, Reddit, and news — and still missing the moments that mattered.
WHAT I BUILT
An executive briefing pipeline: social ingestion, sentiment scoring, and a daily digest delivered straight to the owner and head of marketing.
THE OUTCOME
One daily signal instead of seven noisy tabs. Leadership starts every day already up to speed.
PNW University
🎓 HIGHER ED · ATHLETICS

PNW University

THE PROBLEM
Coaching staff needed both performance breakdowns and real-time public context — without stitching tools together by hand.
WHAT I BUILT
A coaching-breakdown dashboard paired with a targeted social listening layer for a specific sport.
THE OUTCOME
Hours of weekly manual review, gone. Decisions start from data — not forty browser bookmarks.

THE PROBLEM
A service business needed qualified leads in a specific area but couldn't justify a full-time SDR.
WHAT I BUILT
End-to-end automated lead gen for a defined territory — sourcing, enriching, qualifying, and routing to the closer.
THE OUTCOME
Pipeline runs while they sleep. More leads, same headcount.

CS at Oregon State. AI Advisor at OSU's College of Business. Data Analyst for Carrick Rangers FC. Previously: ML Engineer intern at Estée Lauder, SWE intern at NJ Transit, AI intern at an NVIDIA Inception Program startup.

I got into this because I watched smart people waste their time on the same repetitive tasks week after week. Automation, done carefully, gives that time back. That's the pitch.

I placed first at Microsoft's on-campus hackathon in the AI agents track. I run Oregon State's Agent Hub — the tool faculty and students use to build and manage custom AI agents — and I helped write the university's AI governance policy. So yes, I've read the fine print.

Questions people usually ask.

How do I know if we actually need automation?

If anyone on your team spends more than an hour a week copying data between tools, formatting reports, or chasing updates — you'll see a return. The discovery call is free; we'll figure it out together, no pressure.

We're a small team. Is this overkill?

Honestly? The opposite. Small teams get the most leverage because every saved hour is a bigger % of capacity. Some of my best work is for teams of 5–15.

Our tools are kind of a mess. Weird, old, custom stuff. Is that a problem?

That's usually where the interesting work is. I've connected REST APIs, scraped old vendor portals, and written Python bridges when an API didn't exist. If it talks, I can wire it up.

What does this cost?

Every engagement is scoped. Audits are a flat rate; builds are fixed-scope after the audit. You'll know the number before I start and it won't change unless you ask for more.

Do I own what you build?

Yes, 100%. Code, workflows, prompts, configs — all yours. I hand over docs and a walkthrough. No lock-in, ever.

What if something breaks?

Well-built automations rarely break, but things change. 30 days of monitoring come with every build. After that, I offer retainers for ongoing care — or you handle it yourself.

Can you work with our existing team / agency?

Yep. I regularly pair with in-house engineers, ops folks, and agencies. Happy to be the specialist, not the owner.
